Account Information: We collect your name, email address, and profile photo URL when you sign in via Google.
User-Generated Content: We store the donation records, amounts, dates, and charity names you enter into the application.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymous metrics on how you interact with the app (e.g., page views) to improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

To create and manage your user account.
To securely store and visualize your donation history.
To allow you to export your data for tax or personal record-keeping.
To process payments for premium features (via Stripe).

3. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. However, we utilize trusted third-party infrastructure to run our service:

Google Cloud & Firebase: Used for secure hosting, database storage, and user authentication. Your data is stored on Google's secure servers.
Stripe: Used to process payments. If you upgrade to a paid plan, your payment information is handled directly by Stripe; Caprica LLC does not store your full credit card number.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data only as long as you have an active account. If you choose to delete your account:

Soft Delete: Your data enters a 30-day grace period. During this time, it is not visible but can be restored by support if you change your mind.
Permanent Deletion: After 30 days, all data associated with your account is permanently wiped from our database and backups.

5. Your Rights

You have full control over your information:

Access & Portability: You can view your data at any time and export your full donation history in JSON format via your profile settings.
Right to be Forgotten: You can delete your account and all associated data via the self-service "Delete Account" button in your profile.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
