Important: By accessing or using DeductibleDad, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DeductibleDad website and service operated by Caprica LLC.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

DeductibleDad is a charitable donation tracking platform designed to help users organize and track their donation history. We provide tools for data entry, visualization, and export of donation records.

3. Accounts & Data Collection

To use our Service, you must authenticate using a Google Account. By doing so, you authorize us to collect and store the following information:

Identity Data: Your name, email address, and public Google profile information.
User Data: Donation records and associated metadata you input into the system.

We utilize Google Cloud Platform and Firebase for data hosting and authentication. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data is stored on Google's infrastructure.

4. User Rights & Data Control

We believe you should own your data. You maintain the following rights within the application:

Access & Export: You may export your donation data in JSON format at any time via your profile settings.
Deletion: You may delete your account via the self-service option in your profile.

5. Data Retention & Termination

Upon requesting account deletion, your data enters a 30-day soft delete grace period. During this time, data can be recovered by contacting support. After 30 days, all data associated with your account is permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Payments

Premium features or subscriptions are processed securely via Stripe. Caprica LLC does not store or process your full credit card information directly. By making a purchase, you agree to be bound by Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Caprica LLC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of tax calculations or the acceptance of your records by tax authorities. You are responsible for verifying all data used for tax purposes with a qualified professional.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
